BANH MI MAC AND CHEESE

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare macaroni and cheese according to instructions on box
  2. Cut tofu into 1/2” cubes
  3. Heat up small skillet to medium/high heat and add oil to pan
  4. Season tofu with salt and pepper then place tofu in pan and turn every minute or so until it has a golden color all around
  5. Once tofu is cooked, remove from pan onto paper towel lined plate
  6. Grate carrot on box grater to largest size
  7. Sprinkle macaroni with grated carrot
  8. Arrange tofu and jalapeño on top of macaroni
  9. Drizzle hoisin sauce and garnish with chopped cilantro
